Band 6 Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

Our Client is a foundation trust providing mental health and learning disability services. The Trust has established specialist Mental Health Services, Adult, Older People, Forensic and Low Secure and Learning Disabilities along with the newly commissioned and developing services such as the Early Intervention Service and Adult ADHD. You will accurately dispense prescriptions for a wide range of customers and help deliver other professional services.

In addition you will provide a valuable role in the dispensing and accuracy checking of medicines within the Pharmacy Department.

Experienced Required

Based in the newly designed and built Pharmacy Department, this post is part of the programme of service improvement and development for Pharmacy and Medicines Management within the Trust. Our Client offers a very competitive salary and Benefits Scheme.

There is an opportunity to develop self-administration of medicines to appropriate service users. You will also play a part in the recruiting and support of locum and permanent staff.
